Koreans, anyone?

in a third world country like the philippines, tourist are very very appreciated. of course the fear of terrorism here might make you back out on planning to visit here... by the way its not only the philippines whose having trouble with that the whole world. just saw the rosie and elizabeth catfight on the view for example. many people from around the world visits here especially to see beaches (or the other beaches, spelled another way). by the way if your planning to go here bohol got a beutiful beach. its not that crowded as much as in bora....

hmmmm in really going off the topic now ^_^. anyways i saw a show that stated that australians, americans, japanese, european(? i forgot..) and koreans are the top countries that goes here to relax and visit. they usually go here either at march-june and oct-january because its summer and xmas here.

this is the problem. i hate to say this and i hope no one will be offended or angry. but many filipinoes now think that there are so many korean tourist here. they seem to be at home here that they forgot to leave (!). saw another show that ask why they love it here, two reasons stuck to my mind 1. because they want to escape the harsh winter in korea (acceptable. i cant last there for long that i cant see anything but snow and all i can eat is live octopus, which serves a delicacy to them, im not kidding) the other thing really saddens me 2. because living here is way more cheap that in korea...... deep though. here we (filipinoes) are fighting for every breath and food to eat just to get by the day and here i heard that they like it here coz it more cheap? yes its cheap here compared to anywhere else (you can buy a very high end pc here for a mere 150US dollars) and the food, you can will be full at 6US dollars every day, but what we are paid for here is also very very low.. about 10US dollars a day. so many koreans decided to stay here and just plan to do business here. i have nothing at koreans but please go back to korea.... many filipinoes are going to other places just to work, while you might think of philippines as just a playground. anyways its just my opinion.

ive remembered a joke that was once said at a entertainment show here:
in a cruise liner there was 3 tourist talking. one american one european and one filipino. they were arguing who among the three are richer. the american throw his laptop in the ocean. he said "oh, it ok we've got many of that in america". the european throw his golden watch in the ocean. he said "its ok. we've got many of that in europe". when the filipino was next, he quickly grabbed a korean tourist and throw him in the ocean. the two tourist was shocked. they say "why did you throw him in the ocean?" the filipino said "oh, its ok, we've got so many koreans on the philippines"

i know, i know its corny and lame. but the message there was clear. many filipinoes has also observed that they are very abundant here.
